I just decided that this blog will be casual. I wanted every entry to be poetry, but sometimes I just wanna write a blog about nothing. And I don’t want to have to use tumblr or myspace or blogspot or livejournal for separate casual posts. So it begins.

First thing, I made a crazy nutzo stop motion video that took me 8 hours. I do wish it uploaded with better quality but nobody seems to mind (then again they don’t know what the original video looks like) so click the image below to see it:

Next, I want to post something I already posted somewhere else. Aubrey was on blogtv the other day and me and her and all of the people in her room decided who would play who if VlogCandy were a movie and we couldn’t play ourselves. Here are the results!:

And things are back to normal. Unfortunately “normal” for me is quite boring, and 10x more boring after the week I just had. So boring, I don’t even know what to do with myself anymore. The plainness of my life was acceptable to me before, nothing has changed. The only difference now is that I’ve gotten a taste of how amazing and exciting things can be, and now my expectations have risen.

I’ve seen the kind of friends I can have. And so the things I accepted before seem like wastes of time to me now. I could be staying at somebody’s house tonight. I could be working on a project. I could be grocery shopping. I could be taking pictures. I could be making videos.

Yet I sit here and I do nothing. Sure, I’ll make a video or edit a picture. I’ll read, or do something semi-productive, but with no company. Instead of my life being a long road of exciting things interrupted by plainness every now and then, it’s the complete opposite, and it always has been. I’ll hang out with Aubrey or go to the city or New Jersey or something, but that’s just one day out of my week.

I’m pretty certain the rest of the kandy krew has not been effected by this the way I have. They went back to huge groups of friends and work and lives that have meaning (other than “do nothing until school starts up again”, which is mine).

I went back to sitting at my computer typing up blog entries.

While this does all suck, it’s a bit eye opening to me. Not only has meeting these amazing people made me realize what I was missing, but it opened so many doors to new things in the future, with them. One day, I’m going to go to Oregon, and Canada, and California. And it’s going to be with and to see people I love. And I’m going to meet new people and do new things.

All that means for me now is that I keep my expectations high, and no longer settle for the plain things that seemed acceptable before.

I really feel like things have been getting better and better for me.

TheLasertronGuy: whats your favorite vlog candy challenge so far?
Rube Goldberg was definitely really rewarding, although it was probably the hardest one to actually do! I think another one of my favorites would the the puppets challenge. I love being a puppet o_o. Other than those, I think any video in which we act is REALLY fun (ex: Newscaster, Home Shopping Network, Kid Show).

planetpatrick: why did u join youtube?
I joined youtube because I watched a lot of video bloggers back when it first started. Me Aubrey and our friend Larry had decided to make a music video for youtube that we needed to buy a cord for to transfer the video to the computer. Once we were done with the video, I still had hte cord, and larry suggested I start making video blogs. So I did!

blue2kid3: when did you know you wanted to be an artist
I came to the decision that I wanted to do something with art for my career only a year or two ago, but I’ve been drawing and painting since I was 5 or 6

CelebFanatic91: How did you, Aubrey, Andrew, Zack, and Meghan meet?
I was a fan of andrew for a long time before I actually started talking to him. Apparently he had been watching my videos too, but neither of us knew eachother. One day I went into his stickam room and he recognized me, and after that we became friendly with eachother. Way after that, TheMysteryChannel (a youtube gameshow type thing) was formed, and me Andrew and Zack were all on it. TheMysteryChannel is what ultimately made me Zack and Andrew Friends. Aubrey and Meghan became friends with the others through Me and Zack. It also helped that both Aubrey and Meghan were involved with TheMysteryChannel as well.

sableyefan: What is a goober? And when did you start calling yourself one?
Me and Aubrey like to define goober as “a loveable goofball”. Aubrey was the one who started using the term first, I just stole it from her I’ve been calling myself a goober probably since Aubrey dubbed me “King of the Goobers” a few years ago

Pumpkin pie

Not really! I’m not exactly a party person, and most parties involve alcohol, which is something I just don’t want to be around.

Allieboo71: What is your favorite thing to photograph and why?
Definitely people. If I could get a job doing portraits, fashion photography, or just anything else which involve photographing people, that would definitely make me happy

It was alright! No dramarama, and nothing spectacular really happened. Nothing special for me.

I’ve had a giganto goldfish, 2 hamsters, and 2 parakeets.

Definitely Uniqlo, which is a japanese clothing store in Manhattan.

WoahMeriMae: How long does it take for you to make those drawing videos?
Probably about an hour or so x_x

I guess so! It’s not really important to me I don’t really mind not being a teenager anymore.

themilkclub: 1.) Have you ever thought about being a voice-over artist or a voice actor? You have a good speaking voice.
2.) Do you think you will ever get sick of making youtube videos?
Absoluuuutely. I’d love to be a voice-over artist, but I’d probably have to take some acting classes first. Thank you! And no I actually don’t think I’ll ever get tired of youtube. I’ve been doing it for almost 3 years and not once have I become bored with it

Yes! Somehow it gets lost around my house every now and then but it always makes its way back to my desk.

Only if the video is scripted. If it’s a normal video blog, I might just have a list of topics, but nothing I say is rehearsed If it’s an acting video (like a skit or something) I might go over it a few times

I love New Yawk City! I don’t think I’d want to live anywhere else, but I haven’t been many other places so I’m not sure. And no, I don’t know Tony Danza XD

I hope you guys realize that the pictures I post with these entries will rarely have anything to do with the entry itself! This is my cousins’ dog Gypsie by the way

I feel very done with school. I’m taking classes that require work outside of class, and I am not a fan. I don’t just mean homework, I mean having to come in sometime in the middle of the week to work on a project. Definitely not a fan. Luckily my classes end May 15th and I only have one final!

I still have to look at the financial aid information SVA sent me. I’m so afraid of change, but I started thinking about it and there’s really not much I have to worry about. I didn’t make many connections in the college I go to now. It’s slightly sad but entirely true. Each term I still get lost trying to find my classes, and each class is always filled with new faces. It won’t be any different going to another school really. I just need to get all of this done before May 1st when I have to make a 400 dollar deposit to SVA confirming that I’ll be attending. I wish someone could just figure all of this out for me.

Today I feel sick. I think I caught a cold somehow.  Surprisingly my body isn’t as sore as I thought it’d be since I was out in the city from noon - 10PM yesterday. Me and Aubrey shopped till we dropped (and she literally almost dropped, she had 2 hours of sleep the night before). And by “shop” I mean “bought a spring jacket and resident evil 5″. I don’t think it’s possible for me to leave Uniqlo without buying something.

I’ve been really wanting to make music lately but I simply don’t have the means to do so. Means being garageband and musical talent. I can pull off singing pretty okay but I’m not sure I’d be able to make a legit song. I’d like to try though This just reminds me of how badly I want a mac. The only good thing about my current laptop is startup time and that it’d make a pretty good weapon. I could probably break a few bones hitting someone with that enormous piece of junk. I’m sure it’d still work afterwards too.

And the last thing I wanna talk about is some exciting things that will be happening this summer! I’m 95% sure I’ll be attending a youtube gathering with a group of other youtubers you might be familiar with ;-). Then I think my family in Florida will be coming up to visit! And who knows, maybe I’ll get a job or an internship or something. THE WORLD IS MY OYSTER. Lata!

So I finally have what I’ve always wanted; a blog website! The website I had before this one was fun for the time being, but I began to realize that I didn’t have much of an incentive to update it. Now, this whole website’s focus being the blog, I have a reason to update alll the freaking time! Woop!

So here’s how it works: I’ll make posts on here whenever I get the chance, and you can comment my posts without even having an account! You just type in your name, e-mail (I think), and a link if you want.

Aside from the blog section, the links on the side are to the websites I’m on, my online store which will be up in a week or two, my friends on youtube, and also other blogs/websites I read. There’s also that Flickr section which displays most of my artwork. I don’t really use Flickr that much but this gives me a reason to I guess!

I’ll be keeping you doods updated on future projects and just stuff going on in my life on here. I hope you guys like what I have to say!

The last thing I want to say by the way, and this is stepping over the boundry of “intro” into “furreal blog”, but I chose the picture I posted there because I really have no idea what else to post. Whenever I have a website, I end up posting the same couple of pictures I’ve taken of myself so I wanted something fresh and new and fun this time.
